Popsugar x 50 States, 50 Abortions

During my time at Popsugar, I had the privilege of leading the digital strategy for the impactful November cover story, "50 States, 50 Abortions." As a Social Strategist, I spearheaded the digital rollout across Instagram and X, crafting a narrative that shared the deeply personal stories of individuals who had undergone abortions in each state across the U.S.
One particularly poignant story featured an Iowa resident who, at 16, faced an unplanned pregnancy while on birth control. She made the decision to terminate the pregnancy, navigating the isolation and emotional complexities that followed. I worked closely with our editorial and creative teams to amplify these voices, ensuring the coverage was not only informative but also deeply empathetic, sparking meaningful conversations on a topic of immense personal and societal significance.
